Server virtualization is a rapidly emerging technology that can benefit enterprises by optimizing existing assets, supporting server consolidation initiatives, and helping to ensure business continuity. While relatively easy to deploy but it can create an additional dimension of complexity for IT. Adding clustered environments only compounds the issue. In order for enterprises to truly benefit from virtualization, it must be managed with a solution that takes real world parameters into consideration.
