The value in BI is not always obvious, but the value increases as BI matures within an organization, for a variety of reasons. Business users and IT users become more experienced with the tools that are provided to them. User adoption grows and spreads throughout the organization and, as that happens, users become more creative with how they collect, analyze, and ultimately use that information to make better business decisions.
